We (we are a couple) spent 2 nights at Mufasa city Hostel and Apartments. The hotel is in a good location. Easy to get to from the airport and quickly reach the city center, supermarket and restaurant. There are opportunities to eat and drink in the area. I found the hostel via the price / map function since it was never actively using booking to get customers. This is really sad, because the house is worth to be found and I hope I can help others to find it.
Relevant for me is the location (bus is close, in the green, no noise, here I have an amazing mountain-view), a breakfast that I can discuss how I want to have it and when I have a problem than I know they will help me.
Since the building is as good as new (build not yet two years ago) and the wonderful woodwork is above from what I usually get in a hostel, the location is special and the people are friendly and help me with there connections whatever I desire I can live with a perfect rating what I normally never give .....

The place is as amazing! the property is built on a coffee plantation, the room was clean and had a good view. I had breakfast and chilled out in the communal areas multiply times with the staff and owners who were all so nice and accommodating, they even dropped me to my bus stop when I left. I had a great time and felt very at home, would definitely like to go back in the future.

It's a comfortable hostel, the service is impeccable and the breakfast is delicious, plentiful and tasty, David put me in the double room where I could relax after a hot shower, I loved the company of the cat Lilith and the dog Yukii, I felt at home. home and when I return to Arusha I will definitelyI will host you there, oh David is a great driver and can take you anywhere for a much cheaper price than a taxi. This property is fantastic for backpackers, budget travellers, woofers and those looking for an environmental stay. The banana and coffee plantation surround the rooms giving wonderful views. Rooms are basic and clean, with eco-generated hot water and electricity. The tour around the property was reasonably interesting. For the price you pay, you can't go wrong.
We had a fantastic stay at this hostel. Everyone was really friendly and the atmosphere was great. The rooms are comfortable and we felt so safe here. The staff and the owner are lovely people and helped us so much. Outside is a beautiful chill area for just enjoying the evening.We can definitely recommend.

Arusha has many youth hostels, but a lot of them are in inconvenient and difficult-to-find locations. It's not entirely safe to walk around Arusha after dark, so that can be a problem. Green Garden is in a fantastically central location, but still on a quiet, green side street where you don't hear the city's loud traffic at all. And the grounds of the hostel are really beautiful.
