Enya, the owner, was really helpful especially regarding my trip to Alishan and would message back very quickly! The room and bathroom was really clean. Everything was thought about including aircon and a fan in the room, tea, coffee and even complimentary skin facemasks. The property wasn’t noisy and I liked the location.

Probably the best hostel that I have stayed in. It is located near the train station and about a 20-minute walk from the night markets and busy food scenes. The bed is surprisingly spacious and comfy. Everything is well thought out.

The room was clean, tidy and relatively spacious! The decor around the entire property was so cute and felt very homey/family friendly. The room decor is very stylish and modern. The shared kitchen and dining area is really useful and was a nice touch! I wish more hotels had it. Breakfast is apparently included on weekends, but even though we stayed on weekdays, the staff let us use their jams and butter <3
The staff were lovely and provided us with ample supplies for our stay- water, little snacks, ammenities and were very responsive to our needs throughout the stay (including adding an extra nights stay on the day of the original check out when our plans changed). We are so so grateful.

Great location, close to station and night market. Very clean and comfortable. Coffee and (milk) tea free of charge. Breakfast is just toast with jam/peanut butter, but it is a nice extra. The hostel is especially spacious: the common area and showers are huge!

Very comfortable and provided all the essentials, only a 7 minute walk from Chaiyi station and the staff are very accommodating:) for a cheap stay there isnt much to complain about!
This hostel is quiet big, especially the common area. It's really good for everyone stay there. The shower was great , with washing machine, drying machine. Room size not so big but enough for backpacker. Kitchen own everything you need.
It's very close to night market and there is a park across the street, people working there speak a little english. If you are traveling on a budget, it's very practical for the bus station as well. Good for one night stay if you are ok with more needing a cheaper, more practical and well situated place to stay and can live with less comfort and hygiene standards.

I've stayed in this type of capsule before and it's quite roomy. They're not very sound proof though so if you have inconsiderate neighbours who bang doors etc, can be noisy,
Joint hostel areas are great, kitchen and bathrooms. They have towels and other things for rent if you don't have your own.
The bunk beds are wide and have quiet head space to sit up comfortably. The women-only dorm and washrooms are protected with digital locks, which was extra helpful from the safety pov. The open kitchen and breakfast bar were really great esp if you are trying to catch an early bus to Alishan. The location is quite good by being within walking distance from Chiayi TRA station (TRA and not HSR... I made this mistake)
