Ping at the reception was amazingly helpful and friendly. The place was spotless, we were allowed to leave our luggage behind on the day of our checkout, and he even arranged that we could have a shower when we came back to pick them up!

I’ve been coming here since 2022…my stay gets better each and every time.
Cleanliness is unrivalled and comfort is afforded everywhere: bedrooms, living room, terrace, kitchen. Walking distance to Khaosan Road but far enough to have a zen and relaxing stay (great view of the canal).
Most importantly; the wonderful staff looking after you. From housekeeping to reception to the owners, you are in capable hands and treated like a family. Thank you my LOL family…you already know I’ll be back : ) xxx

The location was convenient although the neighbourhood hygiene was less than ideal but the vibe, the free breakfast, communal space, and overall design were all great. The staff were super friendly and helpful. We had a really lovely stay. The self help laundry service was much appreciated too.

Amazing location, quiet, clean, incredible breakfast and super friendly staff! I had a late night flight and the staff allowed me to store my suitcase so I could explore Bangkok for the day. When I returned they even allowed me to take a shower before going to the airport. Absolutely loved my stay!

VERY clean and comfortable coliving. The staff is super friendly and made us feel welcome at all times. The co-working space is comfortable and spacious. The place is really well connected and has two shopping malls nearby. It's not the most touristic area, but there's lots to see nearby, including Jodd's Fair, 2 blocks away.
We were there for two weeks, while working at the co-working, and felt very comfortable. Only thing is that there's only a microwave and electric stove. But with so many food markets nearby, we didn't mind. Also, internet is ok but not great at times.
Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.
I loved that Matini is close to the station, cheap, clean, friendly English-speaking staff, quiet, big comfortable seating areas, lots of natural light, free coffee, cold drinking water, fridge, big table, spacious safe storage with cheap padlocks, free WiFi, sockets, curtains for each bed, comfortable beds with towels provided, cheap delicious food available to order and hand delivered. The staff also helped me order a taxi to Koh Chang.
All we needed for the 3 nights in bangkok.
Used grab to get around which was cheap! Tried the trains but soo busy! Great coffee close by and eating places walking distance.
Plenty of drinking water, washing machine which was awesome. Shared kitchen space. V good aircon. Nicely refurbished!
Great location to the main train station and Chatuchak Weekend market, modern, clean, and they were happy for me to leave luggage and lounge around in their very comfortable communal area before catching the overnight train to Chiang Mai.
best hostel I ever stayed in. The staff treats you SO good! It’s very clean, I saw a that there are 10+ people just for cleaning. It’s so modern and pretty, you feel rich while paying nearly nothing🥹
