The spaciousness was impressive - high ceilings, big rooms, halls, lobbies, showers, all lived up to the name.
The lighting was modern and pleasant. No dark shadows in corners. The shower was great1 Lots of water, lots of hot water! Shampoo, gel provided. Pillos and bedding were new and big, fluffy. Bed was new, good mattress. A/C was just right. Nice to have free coffee, but the tiny espresso sized cup was not to my liking. I wanted a big mug of drip to sip on for 20 minutes, not a shot glass, down in one. But that is trivial compared to the overall.

Great hostel, they offer a lot of activities and there's many nice people around. If you want to party, you'll find people who are up for that but there is also enough space for you to just relax. Overall, great stay here :)

The vibe of this hostel is really what makes it! Super chilled social vibes, with decent optional activities such as markets, meditation etc. Location is perfect and is really quiet. Breakfast although basic is good, lots of fresh fruit. Rooms are nice and clean. Staff are friendly and helpful.
Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.
I loved that Matini is close to the station, cheap, clean, friendly English-speaking staff, quiet, big comfortable seating areas, lots of natural light, free coffee, cold drinking water, fridge, big table, spacious safe storage with cheap padlocks, free WiFi, sockets, curtains for each bed, comfortable beds with towels provided, cheap delicious food available to order and hand delivered. The staff also helped me order a taxi to Koh Chang.
All we needed for the 3 nights in bangkok.
Used grab to get around which was cheap! Tried the trains but soo busy! Great coffee close by and eating places walking distance.
Plenty of drinking water, washing machine which was awesome. Shared kitchen space. V good aircon. Nicely refurbished!
Great location to the main train station and Chatuchak Weekend market, modern, clean, and they were happy for me to leave luggage and lounge around in their very comfortable communal area before catching the overnight train to Chiang Mai.
best hostel I ever stayed in. The staff treats you SO good! It’s very clean, I saw a that there are 10+ people just for cleaning. It’s so modern and pretty, you feel rich while paying nearly nothing🥹
