The hosts were great. Ana brought together the guests for a pilgrim meals that were highlights for us. She shared her insights about the Camino and opened us up to share with each other. It was a wonderful experience to meet others from around the world

This was one of my top two hostels on the Camino. The location was central and beautiful, with stunning views out the window. The beds were made of sturdy wood, with curtains, outlets, lamps, and very comfortable mattresses. They provided fluffy towels and bedding. There were maybe 6-8 beds on my floor and two full bathrooms, which was really nice. The complimentary breakfast was delicious and the shared spaces were cute. I appreciated the lockers for packs. They also offered items in house that you may need for an extra charge (e.g. laundry, special beverages, snacks, locally made shells for your pack, etc.). I purchased a shell here that I cherish! I would come back to stay here even if just traveling or wanting to show someone how stunning Valenca is. Also, the host was very friendly and took the extra time to give guidance for the Camino the next day, restaurants, etc.

Great location. Welcoming, helpful, and informative front desk person. It had coffee and other beverages available, which came in handy in the morning. Location is steps away from the water taxi.

Convenient to the Camino. Pretty basic, but acceptable. Clean and good price for a private room.

Budget travelers know there's no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: Save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a little more.
Hassle-free stay. A comfortable hostel of a very high standard with a very good breakfast. Attractive location in a quiet place, but very close to the railway station and the town center. The environment is absolutely safe.
Rooms with their own high-quality sanitary facilities.
We used this after a day walking on the Camino. Clean and good facilities. The double rooms were only €2 more per couple than a hostel style and good value. Each room had its own bathroom. We had twin beds. The woman at the reception was very helpful and friendly and enthusiastic- she really made us feel welcome. Breakfast was quite good for the price.
Fabulous property, beautifully restored, in a great location for the old town, the river and the Camino. Excellent service by friendly and helpful staff. fourteen nights into the Camino, (steady pace), this was the best place we have stayed so far - really comfortable.
Great location, right in the centre of town, yet quiet and comfy. We were met at the apartment by a cleaning lady who welcomed us in. The apartment has everything you need. Great for us as we were cycling the Camino Portugues and could bring our bikes safely inside, wash our clothes (even detergent provided), dry them on the clothes rack on the balcony and have separate rooms for a really restful night. Restaurants are very close by and the town is sweet and located beside the river.
Very modern hostel, spotlessly clean, each dorm has en suite facilities, great location overlooking the river and less than a minute walk to the town centre
