The host, Maria was so welcoming! Always smiling and giving you a good feeling. Even though some people like to have fast check in without so much talking, for me it gave more personal feeling, and also it’s always more nice to have full explanation of where everything is located in the hostel and so on. The super safe there, with a personal code for doors (which was amazing instead of worry to loose a room key!). There is also locker for each bed with a key (super nice, many hostel not providing key to lockers). The kitchen is fully equipped so you can easily cook. Everything is super clean and there can s a good vibe between people. even though I had not a lot of interaction with people at the first day, but then I decided to extend my stay and then had some nice chats with people and we even cooked together, so I guess it’s depends if there are more solo travellers while stay if you feel that the place is socially or lonely… highly recommend for a couple of days on the coast near Porto

I booked another hostel before starting the Camino. Cancelled that stay and rebooked at the Gallery. Staff is amazing. Shout out to the bar staff who remembered me when I walked in again after being away for 3 weeks.. very clean and quiet. Definitely not a party hostel. Great area of Porto with lots of restaurants and bars.

The property was much bigger than I expected and I really liked the design inside. The garden was my favourite part about this property.

Great location, right in front of the beach and boulevard. Antonio is a friendly host and the hospitality was excellent. I know where to book if i were to ever revisit Espinho again ;)

Simple breakfast was included in the cost of the room, and the kitchen facilities mean that you can prepare food and dinners in the hostel if you wish - great if you’re travelling on a budget.
