Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a little more.
My favorite city so far in Portugal. Great location, facilities and communication with the host. The host was flexibile, replying promptly and very empathetic. We would gladly come back anytime.

Fantastic communal spaces although we didn’t have time to make the most of them. These were decorated in a quirky style with lovely furniture pieces
We arrived by motorcycle and we were escorted to the central courtyard to safely park our bikes. The Hotel receptionist was outstanding. Location was spot on cant fault it.

MSG is a lovely and large guest house located at the foothills of Elvas. A great location to explore from (albeit a short uphill walk to the town) it had the advantage of free parking which was great. A lovely pool and outside seating area and trampoline for kids. The house is traditional but comfortable and all facilties are available to one. Highly recommended.
It is a nice, quiet and clean appartment in the old town. We parked the car in the Parkinggarage round the corner on the square €17. For our minibus more convenient and safe. But if you want there is free parking near the Mercado. Maria, the nice host, will explain!
Very comfortable and clean. Great location. All hostel space smelled really nice. Staff was very attentive and kind, always available. The rooms were very clean and sweat. We had private bathroom, AC and TV with many available channels. Bed was very comfortable. Absolutely no noise from the other rooms. Breakfast offered variety of coffee, juice, vegetable milk, bread, cake, croissants, fruit, etc. There was an outdoor space to enjoy the warm nights and to hang out with the cats.
