It has a well equipped kitchen with a refrigerator, if you like to cook. However there is a little cafe almost across the street that charged me only 11 euros for wine, steak, rice, French fries and soup! They don’t speak English but are extremely friendly. This place is only a mile or so up a pretty steep hill from Braga.

The room was perfect, all the amenities you want, nice bed, hot shower, air con, and a nice gesture of a bottle of spumante, it's very central, so you can walk to the city centre.

I actually stayed until Aug 30, for 9 days.
The staff is very friendly and helpful.
Some guests live there long term, which gives the place a family atmosphere.
I love the neighbourhood with the old houses. :) It's very central, all the attractions of the old city are within walking distance, as well as the central bus station, a supermarket, and the market.
The garden with the orange tree is pleasant and relaxing. Or should I say jungle because it's not taken care of, but it's pretty anyway. :)
The hostel has an artsy concept which makes it interesting. :)

The rooms were really big and there was lots of space in the common area. Friendly staff.
Budget travelers know there's no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: Save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a little more.
One of the best hostels where I've stayed.
Breakfast is small but it's enough for a beginning of a day.
The service was amazing, I made a mistake with the booking dates, and the hostel changed the check-in dates without any problems.
Thank you, I appreciate it!
Great location that's central to everything and very helpful host. We stayed in a room that had three beds and 2 baths. Room was comfy, very clean and neighborhood was very safe. Loved the bar next door where you could get a pretty decent cup of port to go and water.
The hostel is located right in the heart of the city. The staff is really friendly and trying their best to accommodate you even when there are language barriers. The kitchen is fully equipped but because of the many tenants there's not always a lot of room in the fridge. It's really cheap compared to the rest hostels in Braga.
Very good value for money. Centrally located. English-speaking staff was always helpful. The facilities are newly built and kept clean. Breakfast is your typical continental with bread, salami, cheese, selection of yoghurts, spreads, coffee, tea and juice. Definitely good solution, if you are looking for a cheap, yet safe and well maintained hostel.
Genuinely one of the best hostels I've ever stayed at. The facilities are amazing. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The breakfast was decent and the staff are wonderful. All this for a very low and affordable price. Would definitely recommend and stay again!
Location could not have been better. We booked last minute and happened to be in Braga during the Roman festival which was awesome!
Ana was incredibly helpful and made a v last minute trip a highlight of our time in Portugal so far.
Despite all the buzz and excitement from the festival, the sound proofed rooms meant that we were not at all disturbed by it. Slept well.
The building was easy for us to access but felt very safe and secure.
Perfectly fine cheap and cheerful budget option, I'd stay there again. Warm, clean, near the bus station and town centre and great to have the use of a kitchen.
