The experience, as in the fact that you're sleeping in an old fisherman's house. It had been well equipped even if some equipment is old or malfunctioning.

The stay was okay (we passed by in October). When passing by on the right time (summer season), surely a cozy and warming place. Everything was very clean (bedroom, bathroom), clear instructions in how to enter room. Super friendly and helpful staff. A super good place for (young) adventurers like climbers, surfers etc.

I really liked the concept of sharing kitchen and bathroom. Because of this you can meet new people from all over the world. Everything was clean und the kitchen/living room was really beautiful and even had a great view.

Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.
Very chill hostel! The hostel exceeded my expectations. The owner who works there was friendly and helpful. It's located right in front of water. They also provide a boat and sups so you can explore the bay, plus bikes for their guests free of charge which is very nice. I wish I stayed there longer. Next time I will do that :) Thanks and see you.

Charming hostel on a beautiful location. Friendly and welcoming host. Last minute booking was not a problem. Bedlinen included. Free parking. Fully supplied kitchen.
Nice and welcoming host. The hostel has a beautiful view on the sea. The hostel is a former fishermen`s house and it still has this unique character of that.
It was very clean despite some older furnishing. The new host told me that they want to change some older equipment to improve the hostel even more, because in some areas the hostel`s interior is from a time a few decades ago.
It is a lovely hostel nicely located near the water. There is a beautiful hike nearby called Steinetinden, and if you have a car the Auklandsbeach and Uttakleiv are perfect to watch the sunset/ midnight sun. The host was also very welcoming and kind.
Overall I had a lovely stay, would totally recommend it!
