All guest rooms feature a shared bathroom, a hairdryer and bed linen. We had a short stay, but thoroughly enjoyed it. Situated at the very end of the Lofoten Islands, this accommodation is located above a Stockfish museum (unfortunately closed during our winter visit) and right next to the bus stop, just a 2-3 minute walk away. There's a fairly big parking spot, making it easy to get to and from nearby destinations like Reine, Moskenes, and Hamnøy. The neighborhood is charmingly quaint, and we had a fantastic view of the ocean from our room. Check-in was smooth, with everything communicated via the Booking.com app. Inside, it's warm and cozy, with towels provided. There's plenty of room for luggage, and the kitchen is cute and equipped with all the basic amenities for cooking simple meals. One tip: there are no convenience or grocery stores nearby, so be sure to bring supplies if you plan to cook for yourself. There were some condiments and spices available for free use when we were there. Huge thumbs up for the location, value for money, and amenities. We'd love to stay here again during the summer!

On Lofoten’s rugged coastline just 400 metres from the centre of Kabelvåg fishing village, this hostel has a sauna, BBQ area, laundry facilities and free Wi-Fi. A breakfast buffet is included.

A light and spacious lounge with a fireplace is also found at Lofoten Vandrerhjem, and the hostel has a garden looking out onto the sea towards Kabelvåg. The breakfast was outstanding with lots of fresh and high quality food! A lot of things were freshly home made, like the still warm bread, waffles and crispbread. We got a great, clean and spacious room (ensuite facilities), with a sofa and table area by the windows overlooking the canal - we enjoyed the sunset behind mountains from there.

Nearby coop, and other supermarkets, souvenir shops, and food trucks. Easy to find, the entrance is at the back side of the building. Strong wifi connection. The Entire property is very clean. We were lucky to get a room at the ground floor. More parking spaces outside.

Guests at the hostel will be able to enjoy activities in and around Ballstad, like hiking. It was located near a harbour and has balcony view . It was very cozy with all necessary facilities around. Only caveat was, there was only one toilet with shower so if there’s a lot of roommates , good luck. But thankfully I had the dorm to myself and I had a super pleasant stay ! Friendly staff and nice environment
