Looking for a hostel?
Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.

Breakfast and staff were fantastic, room was very basic and very warm so had to borrow a fan from reception, we had a room with two bunk beds and a shared bathroom as we booked late so no choice, next time will book with an en suite as didn’t like sharing bathroom.

I never knew I would be so welcomed in a hostel. Their breakfast is sensational, with a huge variety and quality, and their hot chocolate is to die for. The fact that they have free coffee and tea 24/7 is a big big plus. They are very nice and always ready to help with a big smile. Wish my stay was longer and hope I can return!!

Breakfast was very good and fresh. The location and the surroundings near the hostel together with the breakfast were the best things with the stay at the hostel. Bed linens, bathtowels and that cleaning of the bungalow was included in the price is also on the plus side. The staff were also very nice and serviceminded.

Fairly basic hostel accommodation with bunk beds. You have to put the bedding on yourself and the bathroom is shared. But the place is super clean, with friendly staff, a great breakfast (included in the price) and fantastic views from the breakfast balcony, where you can also chill with a drink in the evening. Outstanding value for money in an expensive country, and an ideal stopover if you're on the long drive south towards Oslo or Torp airports.

This must be among one of the best hostels I've stayed in. Dorm room was well sized, great leisure room to relax in, and the included breakfast would put many hotels to shame. The self-catering facilities are adequate. And all in a great location and for a good price (for Norwegian standards)

Amazing price for a hostel in Norway. The breakfast was great, in my opinion quite luxurious (e.g. smoked salmon, eggs, salad, different types of fresh bread and yoghurts). The dorm had a sink and I had the dorm to myself!

The best accommodation for this price! Very rich breakfast. Clean place. Amazing views. 15-20 minute walk from the train station. Quiet neighbourhood. Friendly staff. For this price you get more than you would normally get in cheaper European countries. And when there was a problem they solved it immediately.
