Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.
Very Nice, clean and super cute rooms. I think I got it very cheap as I booked the same being. Because if I look som days in advance it’s a lot more expensive.
The restaurant was so cute with a good view and the food was great. One of the waitresses- Ivana, was amazing (kind, smiling, good customer service, gave advice on hiking routes).
Great location, 10 minute drive to the ferry(great spot for a night sleep before an early ferry). Beautiful view out our twin room window. Good clean modern kitchen (although it is small).
The HI hostel is perfect if you want to be located in the center of Å with a great view and meet new people. You will have a big shared room with only 3 other persons that also contains one big table, a sofa and a smaller table which is really appreciable in a hostel. The kitchen, toilets and bathrooms are shared and in perfect condition, you will find everything you need. There is also a washing machine and a dryer downstairs. It is perfect to meet people to do the Reinebringen hike together. Amazing experience !
the place i very cute, trustworthy. and the highlight of this place for us was the drying room, it is not clearly advertised but it is best hostels/houses could offer, this very needed in this region.
The size of the room is about twice as big as in other hostels or budget accomodations in the Lofoten. The hostel itself seems to be part of an old fishing village with wooden houses, so if you like that sort of thing this is the place to be for you. Try the (ridiculously) expensive cinnamon buns for 50 NOK a piece at the local bakery. They're very nice.
