We signed up for trail run close to the castle. I was expecting a really basic hostel type situation which was not the case. On arrival we were blown away by the size of the court yard, not even mentioning the sleeping hall which was spacious and clean. The showers were really good as well as the toilets. The following day we were up early preparing for the trail run, coffee was ready and breakfast was served by our super nice host. I am definitely coming back here again if I am in the area again. Highly recommended.

This hostel is in an excellent location with easy walking distance to the city center. Also, being along the Maas makes this an added bonus. The facility is very well maintained and the lounge area and terrace in the back overlooking the river makes this seem like you are staying in a luxury hotel. This is the best Stayokay I've stayed in the Netherlands.

Best place to stay in Maastricht! Location right at the center and surrounding with both places to go and walking paths. Stuff and services they provide are suitable for both: work and leisure!! Totally recommend it!

Due to river conditions we weren't able to stay at the hotel. They kindly rebooked us at another location at no extra cost to us. Sadly we didn't experience the hotel but their customer service is top notch!

Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a little more.
Great location and very nice staff, with the exception of one angry lady at reception, who worked evening shifts. She was rude to us a couple of times. Totally unnecessary and very uncomfortable. We asked her if We could order something from the bar as there was none there. Then she got angry and wanted us to understand that many of the personnel was on a vacation and others was home because they was sick, and therefore they could not help us.
This should have been taken up with the management and not the guests.
Great location - in the center of the old quarter and 100m from the main square. The hotel staff is very helpful and answers any problem at any hour. Beautiful and clean rooms. Definitely a place to go back to again.
Comfortable stay in a lower budget place. If you consider that it's not going to be extravagant and just meets your basic needs then you will be fine. The single room is small but it has everything you need. It's kept clean and is ideal for a short stay.
Staff is very friendly, helpful and dedicated. The hotel is next to the theatre and within walking distance of the central station and the city centre as well as shops and restaurants.
