That night, I lost my entire luggage bag. They emptied my belongings in the emergency exit area and took my laptop, tablet, and valuable clothes. The hotel claimed someone broke in through the window, but I don’t think it’s that simple.
1. It’s impossible for someone to jump through that window. I believe this was a scheme orchestrated by the hotel. They saw I was traveling alone and robbed my luggage. They used the password to enter my room and stole only my belongings. I’m just 19 years old, and they targeted me. Then they staged a fake break-in scenario. The thief was very familiar with the layout and escaped through the emergency exit.
2. In the morning, one staff member told me the cameras don’t have playback, but in the afternoon, another staff member said the cameras were fake. Their statements were completely inconsistent.
3. The hotel said they couldn’t do anything. In front of the cleaning staff, I demonstrated how a thief could supposedly jump through the window, but they didn’t stop me. Instead, they kept deliberately avoiding me.
4. The emergency exit didn’t even trigger an alarm.
