I am the most local boutique hostel in the world. My 21 rooms are all themed with Dutch designs that reflect Haarlem and its surroundings. Want to be close to everything? You're in luck!

I stayed with my family. The lobby is friendly and well-equipped, making it great for solo travelers as well. The decoration is nice, and the design is excellent—it was much more comfy than I expected.
We arrived by car and found free parking just a 6-minute walk away. The location and building couldn’t be better.
Stayokay Hostel Haarlem is a hostel located on the edge of the city, only a short distance from the popular beach town Bloemendaal aan Zee. Benefit from free parking and the lovely terrace.

It was a pretty spacious hostel with lots of areas to hang out.
The staff was great, and helped us with all of our questions. They also got us set up with bikes that are rentable, as well as a hair dryer.
We had to rent lockers—we needed the XL storage units located in the basement. I wish it had been slightly better advertised.
The rooms themselves were great. We loved how open they felt, and the split shower/toilet rooms were perfect!

The hostel is on the canal and has a bra window view of the water! This place is super unique and stylish. For a hostel I rank this place a High 7 and a must stay for solo travelers. However, book a private room. The shared rooms are co-ed and I was not comfortable with sleeping with males. They have the cutest swing and chubby cat! I really enjoyed this ambiance and the women staff.

Atmosphere, games and cleanliness, staff very friendly
Budget travelers know there's no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: Save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a little more.
Value for money budget hotel in a great location
The area has a busy nightlife at the weekend
The breakfast is ok, would have liked to have seen toast available
Really nice hostel with a warm and welcoming vibe. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. We stayed in an apartment with our two young sons there. There was lots of space for the four of us and it had everything we needed. A lovely find. The stairs was quite steep and needed a bit of safety monitoring with our toddler, a given consideration in Holland. Good location & we would stay there again.
Is one of the best hostel that I stayed in my life is now 17 county’s and I never see something like, we got something close in New York, but is not the same vibe.
This place is amazing, people who work there they are all amazing too
The breakfast was nice and the view in the morning was gorgeous. It is worth a place to stay if you are on a budget or a backpacker. Overall, you pay very cheap for the night and it is worth your money.
Easily one of the best hostels I have been in. It was modern, clean and it felt like they cared to give you a really good stay. They were super nice, gave suggestions on places to eat and drink and also had free lemon water available at the reception!
Keep in mind that it's a "calm" hostel. If you are looking to party hard, this would not be the place to go. If you want a place outside of the city centre of Amsterdam, where you can rest on a tight budget, this is the perfect place.
