The staff is really professional and always wants to accommodate. It's not my first time there, and I will go back. Also, the hostel itself is modern and really nice. I love the capsule beds they are perfect!.
Sayab is situated in Playa del Carmen, 200 metres from 28 de Julio Square and 400 metres from ADO International Bus Station.

The facilities were very nice, the pool was lovely and the staff where so friendly and taught me little bits of Spanish and showed me around the property at arrival
Located only 450 meters from the ocean, the colorful Tres Mundos Hostel in the beach destination of Playa del Carmen offers guests free Wi-Fi in public areas.
Ideally situated in the centre of Playa del Carmen, Red Panda Hostal features air-conditioned rooms, an outdoor swimming pool, free WiFi and a garden.

The room was spacious with own bathroom, two showers. Very comfortable beds. You get a towel included which was nice
Staff was friendly and location good.
Conveniently established in the animated city center of San Miguel, Hostel Auikyani is located at only one block away from the island ferry pier.

The staff is very kind. They really give you a full idea of what you can do in the island and the costs. They also have good partnerships with some tour for the coral reef (which unfortunately I didn't have the possibility to use for bad weather) and scooter renta. The position is excellent, really 2 minutes from the ferry. The beds are confortables and the curtains effective for sleeping
Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.
It’s a more humble place than typical riviera Maya hostels but an honest one, no hidden fees, no surprises. Very friendly staff as well, great location
Great location, comfortable and secluded cubicle beds, air-conditioned at night, great common areas, and a good kitchen. Jose is a star and makes your stay comfortable and memorable. I hate this word but Hostel Tropico 20 has a 'vibe'. It is not a party hostel but manages to get a great sense of community. Highly recommended.
Pretty basic hostel but reflected in the price (great to have a cheaper option available in Playa where everything else is quite expensive). Each dorm room has its own kitchen. The staff, especially Kevin, were extremely helpful & welcoming. There are lockers for valuables
The place was really close to the beach and the main street with all bars and restaurant. I felt very safe.
The room had a own bathroom and shower which was cleaned everyday. The room even had a small kitchen!
The beds were very comfortable with curtains.
And last but not least the staff was very kind and helpful! Special thanks to my friend Flor (Florencia) who always was there if i had any questions and we spent nice days together at the hostel :)
A great location in a quieter part of Playa, safe, the hostel has a kitchen by every dormitory, staff is super friendly and helpful. The best hostel I've stayed in in a month of traveling in this region!
Nice clean and cheap hostel. The staff were really friendly and I felt very safe in this hostel with 24/7 reception. The beds were comfy and I liked the capsule design.
Very nice and helpful staff, great location that is close to two huge supermarkets, 10 minutes walk from the beach and main shopping avenue. Many taxis close by are cheap. The area is cool and safe.
Great location, 10 min walk from the main street and beaches, close to shops and bus stations. They have a cold water machine you can use at any time to refill your water for free. Aircon in the room although on only during the night. Wifi works great. There’s LOADS of space in the room to put your stuff, get ready, charge phones, etc. Great vibes from other travellers as well, one of few hostels in Playa that has female-only dorms.
Perfect house for a family on a budget as house needs a bit of updating very good for safety. Very Secure gated community. Very easy to communicate with the host. You need a car. We absolutely loved Playa del Carmen great small town with a beach, loads of entertainment cenotes nearby. Xcaret Park. 5th Ave. Loads of perfect places to eat. El Fuego restaurant in Playa Del Carmen unbelievably good and cheap. You might need to que for 15 min or so before getting a table but really worth it.
