Always great people. This is my second time here. I meant to come to Golden Age/Ohrid for two days last summer. Ended up staying for 2 months. Always interesting people between the guests and the locals dropping by. It feels like a family. The host is very informative about the history, where to go and what to do. It’s a great place to also just relax in the common area or the garden. Also, super fast WiFi (>50+ Mb/s, after 9 months in Asia I have to throw that in). 10mins walk to the center/old town and 15-20min from the bus station. The kitchen is well equipped and has tea coffee all the time. No regret to choose this place.

The best hostel we have ever stayed in! The private room + ensuite was comfortable and spacious. Good wifi. The share areas were easy to use and big enough for large groups. There were activities (free or very cheap) nearly every night. Micky was awesome, encouraging everyone to get involved in socialising. He made us feel very welcomed and gave us heaps of awesome recommendations. Thank you Micky!!
Possibly the best hostel I've ever stayed in. Great security, clean facilities, and the most amazing staff. The kitchen has everything you could need and the atmosphere was just amazing for a backpacker. They run a sunset boat tour every two nights with included wine, so make sure to stay for more than one night!
So many great facilities that every hostel should have. For example curtains on the bunk beds for privacy and a shelf to put your phone when it's charging. Great location and helpful owners.
