Stunning. Located in front of tombs and golden street and 15 minutes walking from old city, bus-stop to Yangdong and Bulguska is 5 minutes from the hotel. Guests are super-friendly and laundry service is available. Room is big enough; mine was close to common area but, thanks to education of other guest and a good soundproofing, nothing heard at night.

Doobaki Hostel, hotel in Gyeongju

Featuring a terrace, Doobaki Hostel is set in Gyeongju in the Gyeongsangbuk-Do region, 9 km from Gyeongju World and 23 km from Seokguram.

I really felt at home at Doo-baki's, it's easy to meet people there and the staff was so nice. Plus the guesthouse is very well located, in ~10 minutes you can go to the royal tumuli or to the intercity bus station, and you can also take the bus to bulguksa temple right in front of the hostel

Great location, within walking distance of the old town, historic sights, restaurants and shops. At the same time the hostel is in a quiet location. Facilities of the hotel are good (seating area, coffee, washing machine) and rooms are slightly bigger than average. Friendly owner. Recommended!

We stayed in a private room which was clean and sized to the budget. There were free laundry facilities, which we were delighted to use. There was a good breakfast included. The bus station is nearby. The guesthouse / hostel was excellent and I would recommend it to anyone spending a few nights in Gyeongju on a budget.

This is the best hostel I have been in Korea by far. Incredible cool areas, the owner was a traveller and he seems to know very well what backpackers are looking for. There is even a manga library and a videogame area! Quite geek everything. Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean, very good location and with a great ambiance, quite cheap and with a complet breakfast included, what more can you ask for?
