The hostel is one of the BEST hostels I’ve stayed in. The location of the place is one of the best options for me since all the popular places to visit in Yokohama are all within walking distance from the hostel. When it comes to the hostel, just imagine the cleanliness you can imagine; also, it’s super clean, organized, everything is in order, comfortable, and friendly, and that’s because of the owner or the staff, who really organized and managed everything.( check out my IG: iamlucas.ian) 😁

Loved everything about this wonderful place! It’s a spacious tastefully decorated and fully stocked traditional Japanese home near the Hase train station. We used the owner’s bicycles to visit all the temples and shrines in the Kamakura area, making touring easy.

Extremely great value for people like me have overnight layover in Tokyo and neither want to spend $150+ for less than 10 hours stay, nor want to spend a night at the HND.
The guesthouse is clean and comfy, you can stay in the living room chatting with the owner and other travelers, which is the best part staying in a hostel. It is just 3 mins walk from the train/metro station. Be prepared for carrying your luggage to second floor where the hostel is. Convenience store and restaurants surround the hostel.
If you are a light sleeper, eat plugs is recommended just in case your roommate snore.
The owner is super friendly, no problem communicating in English. If you like manga, aka Japanese comic, you will have endless chat with him.
Very satisfied stay. Highly recommend and will stay here again for sure next time.

Staff was extremely accomodating, facility was very comfortable and clean. Check in/out was easy. Location only 300 meters from nearest bus stop.
Budget travelers know there's no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: Save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a little more.
Great location, in heart of Chinatown | modern and bright, effective use of space | impeccably clean; crisp, white linens | beds have privacy curtains | lockers | solid WiFi | hot shower | small kitchen area (toaster oven, microwave, kettle) | washer/dryer available for modest fee | effective communication | owners are pleasant and kind | grateful to find hostel in Yokohama, good value |
This is a cheap, basic stay, not too far out of the way. Don't expect much beyond a small practical room, and common bathing/bathroom facilities. And a minifridge.
Still, its cheap, and will net you a safe night sleep.
Great location so close to Yokohama Station. But good sound proofed windows so not noisy. Very comfortable beds . Very helpful and friendly staff . Lots of free toiletries .
Hiromas Hostel is situated at the heart of Yokohama's Chinatown, very close to the pier and other turistic attractions.
The hostel is very clean and quiet, the shared space is great for working, chilling and meeting new people if so desired.
Great experience overall!
Good cheap stay in a central Yokohama location. And, for men, access to sauna and hot bath (not available for women though!). It is as advertised: a bed for the night and little else, but for the price it is very clean, reasonably comfortable and with a good mix of facilities. Staff were courteous and helpful.
This hostel ist the best Hostel i have ever stayed in.
The staff are really nice and helpfull. Also its in the heart of chinatown so everywhere around is good streetfood.
I totally recommend this hostel
its location is amazing in Chinatown but on a side street so it’s not as crazy, lovely coffee shop below but also nice walk to the bay/pier. very simple hostel - basically just the bunk bed pods and shower area but great value for money and very kind staff
