Budget travelers know there's no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: Save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a little more.
Very clean and fairly new/well maintained accomodation. I have been to several shared bath accomodations and some have the weirdest setup that don't make sense. This place just does it. Bed is comfy and pillow has just the right height. There's proper hangers in the shower room, bins at the right spots, everything just makes sense so you'll be feeling like staying in a home instead of a hostel. Friendly and very helpful staffs to ease you through your stay and travel around the area.
The owner of this Hostel Is very helpful. He offered to pick us up at the JR station as we arrived very late at Shingu. He also allowed us to leave the luggage in the hostel so that we can go hiking with the backpack only. For the room, it was very clean and tidy. In short, it was a very pleasant stay and I will recommend this place to the future travelers
The stay here was wayyyy above expected. The host confirmed our arrival prior to our trip and waited in the hostel for our Arrival and introduced us. There was a kitchen, complementary drinks, free Mikan (super delicious)
The room was cozy will absolute stay here again if I had the chance to re-visit Shingu
There was no one at the hostel when I was there, but the service after I left was fantastic, as I got so much help! I am really thankful for that. The place is very clean and smooth and well functioning. It is like a hotel but with shared bath facilities and without staff. Comfortable bed. Many restaurants around.
I found the hotel very nice and this for a cheap price. I did mistaken the booking date and although free cancaltion was passed i was still allowed to change my date without additional charges
