Everything was super clean, the host is incredibly friendly and helpful. Because I was the only one staying in the dorm, he let me sleep in a semi-private room! Thank you so much for your hospitality.

Friendly staff, amazing 5 course meal, best location right across from familymart and close to a nearby onsen. Would stay here every time!
Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.
There were a common area and balcony overlooking the strait. Spacious shared kitchen and bathroom. A section of table, a safe, and a basket for taking belongings for bathing were prepared
for each person in the dormitory.
This hostel was unique and cosy, the beds were comfy and warm, the room was spacious, the host was a really nice guy and recommended an amazing tiny ramen restaurant for dinner and the washing machine and dryer worked well and were cheap (something that has been a problem at lots of other hostels in Japan). Great value for money as well!
This place is great on the Shimanami Kaido, fan of architucture will love this place. Everything was beautiful to the details. Food there was beautiful too! 'Hipster' fancy and not cheap but worthe its while for sure! Single rooms have amazing views but the dormitory is as comfy and nice - the view on the tree is a nice gesture- Still need earplugs if you are sensitive to sounds.
Staff where nice and helpful and down to a little chat which is always appreciated.
Best hostel I have ever stayed. Clean and well-organized. Each bed is equipped with a small desk and chair. The room does not get too crowded, and protects your privacy very well. They provide you with towels every day, and have small lockers for the valuables. The bed was also comfortable.
Great location near train station. Temple walk nearby. We couldn't cycle cos of rainy weather, but the ferry terminal is just next to hotel. We have sea facing rooms - great views, but not cheap.
Best Hostel in Japan! cool design, loads of personality with the quirky collectible decor. cool intimate restaurant on-site frequented by the locals. Great location!
