Loved everything about this wonderful place! It’s a spacious tastefully decorated and fully stocked traditional Japanese home near the Hase train station. We used the owner’s bicycles to visit all the temples and shrines in the Kamakura area, making touring easy.

Chillulu Hostel, hotel in Yokohama

Well located in the Naka Ward district of Yokohama, Chillulu Hostel is located 2.8 miles from Sankeien, 7.5 miles from Nissan Stadium and 11 miles from Motosumi-Bremen Shopping District.

The hostel is one of the BEST hostels I’ve stayed in. The location of the place is one of the best options for me since all the popular places to visit in Yokohama are all within walking distance from the hostel. When it comes to the hostel, just imagine the cleanliness you can imagine; also, it’s super clean, organized, everything is in order, comfortable, and friendly, and that’s because of the owner or the staff, who really organized and managed everything.( check out my IG: iamlucas.ian) 😁

Incredible value for money. Great location between the beach and the main busy shopping street. We were a little nervous about this accommodation because it's been a while since we stayed in a hostel but it feels more like a budget hotel. Exceeded our expectations.

The hostel was amazing. Love the spacious bathroom and the room itself is perfect for one person. The hostel's location is convenient and safe for a solo female traveller. I also got breakfast there which was also delightful. There were three to four options to choose from and they were all delicious and very filling for the start of the day.

Really loved the beds and facilities out of 4 hostels I've stayed during my trip to Japan this round. It's about 5-10 minutes walk from the station with a supermarket on the way. The staff were kind to lend an umbrella when requested. The bed size was really comfy, with lots of space to put some bags at the edge of the bed for a 163 cm tall person. The bunk bed structure was really sturdy and gave the privacy needed between beds as well. 10/10 will come back if I ever visit Kamakura again.

Bushi-san is a really nice host, super friendly and very interesting. It is a small house, only 3 rooms, so you can really interact with the other guests and Bushi-san. The hostel is well located at walking distance from the train station and all the touristy place around. The room with bunk bed was more confortable than we would have expect, and it was very quiet at night so we had a good rest. The Japanese breakfast was really really good. We loved it here :)

Great friendly stuff. They advised me wonderful beach in the area, it was super helpful. Also, proper bed cover, not sandwich sheets, like in most cheap hostels. This is an advantage.
