Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.
This is a wonderful hostel: clean, great breakfast (many choices) nice garden. This hostel is in a good location, not too far from the train station. The shower was nice and plenty of hot water.
It's a beautiful big building with a lot of rooms and common areas. Everything was super clean and the bed was very comfortable, it's also a quiet area so I slept great.
The bunk beds have power sockets, no shelves but you can leave your things on a close chair.
You get clean bed sheets with your hands and make your bed.
Bed was super comfortable. Room was light and airy and recently renovated. Bathroom was new and everything was spotlessly clean. Location was great because it was in the old town in an elegant safe area that wasn't noisy. Host was welcoming and very helpful. There was a sofa which was a nice addition and blankets and dishes were provided for our small dog.
During our Francesco d'Asissi pilgrimage trip, we stayed in the hostel for one night in October 2022. Although we booked two beds in Dormitory, we were offered to stay in a double room. The staff at the reception was very nice and friendly. They also had pilgrimage stamps.
The room itself was very simple but clean and big with a warm shower.
