I had an incredible stay at Ostel in Pondicherry. The staff, particularly Diya, Anil, and Dinesh, went above and beyond to ensure I felt welcome and comfortable. Their excellent service truly made my stay special.
The ambiance was beautiful, and the food was delicious. But what really made my stay unforgettable was the warmth and hospitality of Diya and her adorable dog, Louie- a cute little angel who stole my heart! And let's not forget Mojo, the sweet dog on the property, who added to the warmth of the place.
As a solo traveler, I felt extremely safe and secure at Ostel, which I believe is one of the safest places to stay in Pondicherry. The rooms are well-maintained and comfortable.
My experience was so wonderful that I've decided to make Ostel my go-to accommodation whenever I visit Pondicherry. Thank you, team Ostel, for creating such a wonderful.

Bay Stays is a good value for money place with exceptional and heartwarming service. Manager Vignesh, and Mr. Arivu who was on night duty were of great help. The bathrooms were clean and the dorm was more than comfortable. The attached balcony and terrace let you get fresh air without having to go outside, and even if you were to, rock beach is only a kilometre away.

I recently stayed at the Nomad House during my holiday visit to Pondicherry, and it was an absolutely delightful experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home. The hostel exudes positive vibes, with a vibrant and laid-back atmosphere that’s perfect for meeting fellow travelers and relaxing after a day of exploring.
One of the standout features of Nomad Hostel is their scooty rental service. It made getting around Pondicherry so convenient and added an extra layer of adventure to my trip. The scooters were in great condition and reasonably priced, making it easy to explore the city and its beautiful surroundings at my own pace.
The common areas were clean and comfortable, offering plenty of space to relax, work, or socialize. The dorms were tidy, with comfortable beds and secure storage for personal belongings. Additionally, the hostel provided a well-equipped kitchen, making it easy to prepare meals.

Everything was amazing. The hosts were super welcoming and hospitable. You can rent vehicles directly from the hostel, there are several plug points in the hostel, there is a functioning kitchen for those who prefer to cook their own meals, the rooms are clean,etc. I personally found the hostel safe as a solo traveller.

The place was exceptionally clean, given the fact it's right next to the beach and covered with trees on all sides and is a backpackers hostel.
Just request the owners of the property to privatize the beach patch right in front. That would make the property a 20/10.
It's completely a unique experience in Unpack. One of the best hostel I have been ever. From the check in to checkout everything was amazing in details. Host Kavya and Prateek are amazing people. The property really has a vibe.

Before being in this hostel, I was in another 2,5 km from the center but this one was really well situated, in the main active center of Pondichéry (that's not what said google when I followed the 'distance to center', if only I knew it before 😥).
The dormitory was quite large with a balcony, a kitchen to share, all really clean.
It's like a house with huge spaces recently renovated, really really nice !
And the welcome is warm.

Micasa hostels - my first solo trip hostel and boy am I glad i picked this place. Very safe and well connected, it's walkable distance from all cute cafes of pondi. Hosts Sam and Sandeep very friendly , they helped me with everything - bike rents, places to visit etc. Hostel is very well maintained, clean. Washrooms are constantly being cleaned by their staff. I would definitely recommend this hostel to others and especially solo traveling females.
Loved the stay as it was the first time for me to stay in a hostel. Loved the people and played games with random people... Loved the place. Should definitely choose this to stay if you are very open to meet new people and explore new options while traveling
The atmosphere was quite comfortable and the staff were welcoming. Their behaviour was more of a friend. It felt like home. Also, the other guests were quite hospitable. Best hostel for youth. The vibes were great. Best accommodation at cheap rates in Pondy. I would like to visit again.
Meeting new people sounds scary but at Aura hostel it was so good. I felt so safe staying there..even late night. Rahul ji is so fun and made us feel like home. The rooms were clean, very adjustable with timings. Loved the stay looking forward to go again.
