The property is nice. The location is very central, literally walking distance from the mall road but it is not easy to reach by car (see the negative section). The cafe on the property is good. The staff is kind. They do have their own parking space.

Over the next 2 to almost 3 months I had a great relationship with the staff and came to appreciate the hostel’s location which had clean air, overlooked Dehradun, showed the straight skyline and stars.
The food while not necessarily the yummiest was always convenient and well-made, and I knew I could rely on it when other restaurants were closed or out of reach.
I lived in a dorm of 6 beds and had seen many, many people cone and go for their getaways. There would be nights where at least one roommate would snore loudly which caused me to wake up (If you sleep on your back then you WILL snore. If you sleep on your side you won’t snore) and the staff allowed me to change rooms that night which greatly helped me. It was also helpful because I had Hindi language school classes or would travel to or from other cities in India, so I would need good quality sleep.
The general building was colorful and kept clean while there was free water. There was a common room where people would watch movies and play game, and the fire-chat nights were fun to see. Overall, I feel like this was an excellent investment of my time, money and location over these nearly 3 months of my stay in India.

Stayble Homestay is a good property, well-maintained ( as in the photos posted by the owner), quite clean, and just several kilometers off the center of town. Originally, I thought I should only spend a day in the dormitory, but stayed there for three days because it really felt good.
The owner uncle was very attentive. He came to check on me to see if I had any issues (although everything was just fine)
There is a small restaurant right next to the property, which serves fresh and tasty food, adding convenience to the whole thing.
It might have taken a little more travel time to get to the property or just around the area, but worth every minute. If I ever get the chance to go solo or with family or friends, I would for sure pick going back here. Highly recommended!

We are in the over 55 age bracket travelling about and don't normally book backpackers. Shalom staff were extremely welcoming, it is comfortable, clean, friendly and in a great location. There are sociable spaces and also areas to sit quietly and enjoy the excellent views across the valley. The staff are knowledgeable about the area and fun. We highly recommend

This is one the best hostels for workaction in Mussoorie. The hostel is located on the mall road, making it easy to explore and shop. The property is very clean and cozy. On the top there is a cafe where u can chill, work, play, read, etc. Staff here are super friendly. Thank you Shiva for helping us with excellent recommendation of place to visit. Will definitely visit this place again!
It was the best Hostel I have ever stayed and trust me I have stayed in quite lot in India and overseas. Everything is perfect ... the best feature is the waterfall in the Hostel. The staff is so much fun and helpful special thank to Rohan he made me feel so comfortable if I didn't have further plan I would have stayed atleast 1 more week. Highly recommend to see for yourself and thank me later 😊
