Budget travelers know there's no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: Save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a little more.
The location is great a few mins walk from the market. It's kind of quiet place, with great view of the mountains.
The guest house has a lovely garden with apple trees and beautiful flowers.
Shafir is a great guy and he also arranged a bike for me which was much cheaper than the market.
Also the only guest house in budget to provide geyser for hot water.
Location of hostel is walkable from Leh market. Best property with well spaced dormitory rooms. Have cool cafeteria in rooftop where we can have refreshments. No need to step out for food, all meals available and in budget.
Best thing about this property is the modern technology with traditional touch.
They have everything sorted on a simple QR code where you can scan and do the web check in in less than 1min. Also for the food ordering they have a QR code at the cafe counter. You can choose your order directly also the cafe guy is very friendly and very helpful.
Overall the best hostel in leh.
I recently stayed at a hostel in Leh and had an exceptional experience. The place was neat and clean, with friendly people and great food. Tousef, the owner, was incredibly helpful in planning our entire trip, including arranging vehicles and stays within our budget. He was always available on calls whenever we needed assistance. This is a must-stay place if you're looking for an affordable option with a nice view and genuinely helpful people. Highly recommended!
Rainbow Hostelier gives you good rooms with option of Bunk Beds or Private rooms. Rooms are decent with running Hot Water, Wi - Fi and Drinking Water available. The staff is really friendly and helpful especially in their eating area on the Terrace where Anshumann and Anshul cater to your needs. On Saturday, we also partaked in Barbeque night with Live music which was a good experience. The Bonus is the location which is just 10 mins walk from Leh Market. Definitely recommend the place.
Hostel and staff were very nice, dorms are good and there is a small common area downstairs and a rooftop. Very central, a 5 min walk to the main Leh market, so a great location.
Great location, clean rooms and extremely helpful staff - especially C.A. who took care of us helping with the altitude sickness and provided advice/assistance with booking our trips to Nubra and Pangong. The whole experience was more than just a couple of nights in the hotel - it was much broader and the entire stay in Leh was better, safer and cheaper thanks to the support we've received. Highly recommend - in fact our friends are coming there next month!
