As a solo traveller, I have never felt so homely in any other hostel like I did in hearthspace. Sam(host) has a magical energy that brings people together. Fellow travellers who stayed for even 1 night became family. I planned to stay for 2 days and extended the stay to 9 days. There are two dogs Joey and Juno, and a cat who call hearthspace their home like the rest of us. Sam goes all extra miles to make the guests comfortable and happy. She took us to so many hidden spots through off-the-beaten paths for sunsets, hikes and swimming. We celebrated diwali with the kids in Anegundi village. Sam is also a very responsible host and traveller. She is strict on avoiding single use plastics and on zero waste policies in hostel. She has definitely inspired me to be a better person. Had to say goodbye to Sam, Joey, Juno and other hostel mates with a very heavy heart.
PS. There is also an eatery right opposite to Hearthspace called Lovely family restaurant that serves delicious food.

The location is a peaceful retreat, far from the hustle and bustle of Hampi, surrounded by rocky landscapes and open fields. The space is spacious, clean, and beautifully designed, offering a relaxing yet lively atmosphere. The cafe offers a variety of activities throughout the day, ensuring there's always something to do if you're not working. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and will definitely be returning.
Hoping they build a pool because that would be the cherry on the cake!
Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.
A very nice hostel in so-called New Hampi. A very friendly family to stay with. Nice room with all the necessary amenities. They also found me a driver for pickup from the train station and to go see Hampi. The breakfast was also very nice.
The stay was very clean....and the owner allowed us to check in early as we came from long distance and they suggested us the near place by this surrounding. If u r looking out for a budget stay then this would be good one.
Basic neat and clean homestay. It's in New Hampi area, approx. 5 mins drive from Old Hampi town and main tourist spots.
Room provides all basic facilities for comfortable and safe stay.
Owner is cooperative and helpful.
Nearby Veg restaurant & Cafe available.
Viru is an absolutely amazing guy - he will be your solution to all the problems you could have. He will feel you welcome from the very first day, keep an eye on you to be safe and help to organise whatever you wish (from bus tickets, changing money, organising trip or riksha...). All of this with a big smile on his face. His apartment is in a lovely local village so you get the vibe of colorful, rushy domestic life which i adored when i walked a little bit there.
Little rooms, with Fan and Private Bathroom.
Everything was clean and the owner helped us when we called. Toiletries and drinking water was provided. The is a little balcony where you can dry your stuff. Good for low budget!
We liked our stay
This is a calm area which feels like home. Beds and rooms were clean. The single bathroom attached toilet is quiet uncomfortable for 5 persons we stayed together. One more minus is no cupboard or hangers are available for kept our dress. But, compare to the rent which is very affordable the above are acceptable. Total this property is budget friendly and comfortable to stay with groups
