We liked that the room was private and had its own private bathroom. We loved the location because it was convenient to get to everything in the area. However, labeling what was offered as breakfast as "breakfast" was a little misleading, but we do recognize that we did not pay much at all for our stay and are satisfied.

Galway city was extremely expensive. This was the only option within our budget and it was still expensive considering it's a dorm room at a university. Pictures and description matched the room.

The owners were remodeling and we had an issue with staying in the room. They went above and beyond to find us another place to stay and set us up real great, very hospitable! It was our first night in Ireland and it was a good welcome. The small village by the sea was a nice relaxing stay to launch us off on the Aran Islands the next day.
Budget travelers know there's no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: Save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a little more.
Great location everything I wanted to do was walkable. Staff are extremely friendly and approachable and also very helpful. The free hostel breakfast is definitely one of the best hostel breakfasts I’ve ever encountered. It’s also a very social hostel with activities on most nights that are easy to access and super fun, as a solo traveller this was awesome! The rooms are spacious with secure crates to keep your stuff + privacy curtains were appreciated. Bathrooms are clean and numerous.
It’s a great location and the best hostel I’ve stayed in for a while. The room was pretty good and the breakfast provided and the kitchen facilities were great. The staff were amazing as always and very accommodating and kind.
Great location, lovely and clean, beds were comfy, the check in staff were very welcoming, would highly recommend this hostel. I travelled on my own and felt very safe
Extremely friendly staff. The hostel provided clean towels, soap and shampoo. There was also a kitchen for us to use. Great atmosphere and really nice rooms. Overall, the best hostel I've stayed in so far. Great location. Would highly recommend.
The best hostel in Galway, EXCELLENT free breakfast for hosts, tea and coffee available at anytime for free, awesome staff, great location, nice decoration, everything was perfect, I’ll come back for sure.
Great location, nice facilities: guest area, kitchen, bathroom, carpet, friendly staff, great value for the hostel cost, cheaper day tour if booked with them.
The people and the general atmosphere as well as the facilities all come together to create one of the best hostels I’ve stayed in during my solo travels. It’s safe and right by everywhere you’d want to go. Definitely would highly recommend!
This was the best hostel I have stayed at so far, amazing staff, a very well equipped kitchen, extremely clean bathrooms/hallways. i loved it here, the staff were friendly and accomodating, the bathroom had cool music, it was very central and close to town.
