Budget travelers know there's no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: Save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a little more.
Nice staff! Comfortable place to stay. Just a basic place, but when you're a low budget traveller, this is a great and cheap place to stay. Also on walking distance from the Bromo vulvano!
Beautiful scenery. The hostel feels so clean and the beds are comfy. The room is quiet and the owner is so helpful to organise trips for us, to Bromo and Ijen much cheaper than we could have found ourselves. We even had free tea when we arrived. I wish we had more time to stay longer - beautiful area. Thank you!
The staff is really friendly and the boss is responding very quick via WhatsApp. We booked the scooter as well as the Mt. Bromo Tour via this hostel and we even got a full refund for 1 person because my husband turned sick the night before. The tour was very well organised, I felt safe being with them.
The outside area of the hostel is really nice for a relaxed evening.
Cheap room with huge OK bed. The sheets and pillow was clean.
Area is safe, nice people and there are several restaurants on the neighborhood.
The trips to the mountains were very well organized. Thanks!
Perfect. The hostel is really comfortable and the personnel is very welcoming, the restaurant is very good. You must try it. We just spent one night there but it was definitely the best hostel we had during our stay in Java!
Note* we booked the budget 2 person room
- Beautifull room with cosy light
- The bathroom is beautiful, i didn't expect a outside shower for this price.
- Good working ac and good blanket.
- Helpfull staff and possible to rent scooters with them
- Overall look of the backpackers house is relaxed and has many places to relax and chill
I was a bit hesitant to book it but I’m glad I did - sure it’s a simple hostel room in Asia, not a fancy hotel, but it was conveniently located, clean, safe and perfectly fine. It’s also a homestay in the literal sense and the host spoke English well, was friendly and helpful, without being intrusive. I didn’t do their Bromo tour since I already had other plans but their offering is at a very competitive low price.
This is one of the best hostels I have ever stayed in. It didn’t feel like a hostel actually, it felt like home. The architecture and interior design are just exceptional. The staff member Hadi has been so helpful, I cannot thank him enough. He even took the time to help me with Grab’s customer service when I had an issue with the delivery.
