Uncle hippie is a small piece of heaven on earth. It is exactly how it looks on the pictures: don't come here expecting big luxuries, instead, take this time to reconnect with basic on its bamboo cozy cabins. The best nights of sleep in my 2 months travel in Indonesia, with the birds singing in the morning and the natural ventilation.
Great snorkel, beach and restaurants super close. The owner is the most chill person in Gili meno, and will help in every possible thing to make your stay just perfect.
Keep in mind that is about 25 minutes away walking from the harbor, but with the best views 😉

Nice hostel, comfy beds with curtains. I just needed to chill after doing Rinjani so it was a good place for that as you had everything you needed at the hostel. The breakfast and pizzas were really good!

Nice Staff
Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.
This place it’s just amazing. The staff is super friendly and always ready to help if you need. Super good vibes , I felt safe and properly at home here. A lot of activities to do and as a hostel it is super clean. Thanks rabbits!
The best hostel we’ve stayed at ever. We were so lucky with the nicest volunteers who did everything to make us feen comfortable. They organise daily activities and it really gives you an opportunity to meet other travellers.
Well at my 44 I want to try this Hostel ,and I have to say the structure is unique in his type, staff very friendly and is excellent place to meet new people,I really appreciate the whatsapp group the every one is included on the activity info ,food and cocktails was very good I have to be honest, recommend to young travelers specially back packer’s…yes don’t bring you trolley there.
This is one of the best hostels I’ve ever stayed in! Kinda crazy but in a good way - feels more like a community:) I only planned two nights but ended up staying longer! The staff are amazing, thank you to Yigit who made my stay even better
The beautiful hotel garden, pool and rooms as well as the delicious breakfast. All the staff were so friendly and helpful and I felt very safe as a solo female. Also it’s in a great location for seeing both sides of the island.
The hostel is a great place to meet new people as there’s plenty of ‘organised fun’ on everyday as well as a good social atmosphere around the hostel. The breakfast is also amazing with the Creaps being fabulous (very clear the French own how shown them how to make them the right way).
super cheap!!! which was great for my budget backpacking. the owner was so lovely and helpful. laundry service was great. so cheap and only took a couple hours. also rented snorkel and fins. very close walk to all the cafes and a short walk to the Bask Nest sculpture.
a very quirky place with rooms decorated all very differently. When you turn up you get a full tour of the hostel including lots of stairs and narrow openings. staff are super friendly and helpful. you can also rent bikes and snorkel stuff from the hostel to make life easier. Air con in the bamboo room was good. An outdoor space and a lot of communal areas to lounge. Free tea & coffee and water is free by the glass but filling up a bottle you pay into the box (very cheap though).
it’s a very quirky place, and they always have something going on in the evening which is lovely! the facilities are pretty basic but they do with what they have and the vibe is great! i think it’s the best hostel on the island, it’s also close to Diana cafe and the statues so it’s a great location!
