Looking for a hostel?
Budget travelers know there's no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: Save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a little more.

Fabulous building in a great location. Staff were helpful, polite and had a good knowledge of the area. Hostel was clean and tidy, with good sized rooms and lockers The weather was good so it was to have outside seating . Enjoyed my stay.

Great location close to the Castle, Old Jail and a short walk to the city centre and train station. Very friendly, helpful staff. I like the hot roll selection available for breakfast. Very spacious common areas with outside seating area. Property felt very safe and secure. Great value for money.

Great location…but more like a youth hostel than a bnb… small room; poorly ventilated; bathroom was small and there was a constant drip. Absolutely no decor… almost looked and functioned like a prison cell. Very, very disappointing…very poor value for money.

Great location, free parking, and wonderful food. Arrived early, and room was ready. Enormous room and bathroom with 3 piece suite lost in the expanse. We were a bit hesitant before we arrived as the cost per night was very cheap, but we needn't have worried; it was fantastic value in the heart of Stirling.

As far as a hostel goes, the Stirling Youth Hostel is the right place to crash at a reasonable price. You don't get anything fancy with your room but the beds were beyond comfortable and the showers had the most amazing pressure and plenty of hot water. We only stayed for one night on our travels through Stirling and did not take advantage of their breakfast options. The location is PERFECT for those without a car because everything is in walking distance.

Location was perfect, and the neighbourhood was very clean and safe. Loads to do in the area before you even think of heading to one of the big cities. The hosts were fantastic, and very helpful. Everything was really close. Kids loved the bunk beds! I'll definitely be staying be here again.

It's a great location for sightseeing, and the facilities are clean throughout. If you look around, you can also learn about the history of the hostel building.
