Budget travelers know there's no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: Save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a little more.
The hostel was fine. Its not 4 star more 3 star but it is cosy and safe feel to it. Plenty of facilities. It does need a complete redecorate I am afraid but it is comfortable. The view from the front is lovely and kitchen and dining area very big with the best views.
We needed to break a long journey to the north. Pitlochry was an ideal location. To be honest it was a very long time since we had stayed in a youth hostel. Lovely room. Quiet and peaceful. Good well organised breakfast. We would think of using youth hostels again!
Great hostel. The staff were super friendly. The optional breakfast was refreshingly cheap and it was a great location. Loved the cozy welcoming atmosphere.
All staff friendly and really helpful. 👍❤Sitting room large and you can help yourself to tea and coffee. Good place to meet other backpackers from other places, especially when sharing a dormitory. My friends and I were very impressed with the hospitality and great atmosphere at Pitlochry Backpackers.
excellent hostel with a great location near an awesome hike. We had a private room with two twin beds and its own shower/toilet for under $100. Communal kitchen with ample food storage. Free WiFi and tea.
Great location, lovely and friendly staff and fellow backpackers. Free Tea, Coffee, Hot Chocolate was great it's also got a kitchen, very reasonably priced breakfast. Clean and nice and warm room dorm which only had one other lady in it. Great shower. Very reasonably priced, l hadn't planned in staying l had to go buy PJ's which cost me more than my nights stay with breakfast.
Great location, clean, comfortable and staff were super friendly and helpful. As expected for a hostel/backpackers. Free parking was a bonus!
