nice clean accommodation, great location in the center, good breakfast
Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.
This really is a lovely hostel, better than many so-called budget hotels. Warm and informative welcome, excellent facilities and the whole place was immaculate.
My room had a a comfortable single bed and a mountain view. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend and hope to return.
The staff were more than friendly, and the location was perfect. The value for money is amazing. This is the best hostel I have ever stayed at and I’ve been to a lot!
This was my first ever hostel stay and it exceeded my expectations. Friendly staff, great location. Facilities were more than suitable. We could tell as soon as we got there is would be a nice stay. The Sega console was a bonus !
The bunk beds were double sized, really nice to have a big bed in a hostel. The hiking route up Snowdon recommended by the person at reception was great.
The location is amazing , 10 minutes to the left your in the most spectacular mountain scenery easy acess to all the main tourist and walking routes all within max 40 min drive , the cleanliness and facilities are the best absolutely immaculate place, Tim and Tom are wonderful hosts and the fine detail they add such as foam mattresses, bath towels , and all the little extras make this the best hostel in Wales by absolute far , we love it the views the vibe and the animals just make it such a great place to stay
This is a great family friendly hostel. Very comfortable lounge area to relax in evening. Good kitchen facilities. Nice outdoor area to have a kick about. 1 mile from co-op and breakfast cafe. Particularly liked the power shower in the room and the double bunk beds! Wifi worked well. Very friendly and helpful manager. Couldn't ask for more out of a hostel.
It was my first experience with hostel type property and I couldn't imagine better experience. It's just few simple rules to follow (for example clean after yourself in share space) and everyone will be happy. The room was amazing, bed was huge (!double bunk bed!) comfy and we even had a balcony with an amazing view. Everything was clean and smelled nice. The staff are very knowledgeable about the area they are always happy to help. i will definitely come back.
Great location for hiking, the hostel itself was set in beautiful country side with views of the mountains. There is a co-op near by and plenty of places for nip out to get food. Fantastic kitchen facilities, lounge area and plenty of parking. Beds were super comfy too!
