Looking for a hostel?
Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.

Fabulous old building. We had a double room with an en suite. The Room was a pleasant surprise and was large and pleasantly decorated. It was clean and comfortable. Towels, kettle, tea and coffee included. Communal kitchen 1 flight down stairs with fridge and cooking facilities. Staff kept our luggage safe after checkout until we wanted to leave Dundee. Very central to town. The hotel prices in Dundee were very high for our stay and we nearly missed visiting it altogether so the backpackers was a great surprise for the price.

Parking was very accessible and very cheap. Hotel near lots of restaurants. Dundee is a great location to go to lots of different areas, we went to glamis castle for the day. Foyer and restaurant felt light and open, food atmosphere.

Essentially, this was an excellent place with a few minuses, most of which could be easily addressed. Very clean and tidy. Great view. Comfy bed. Quiet area. Safe parking directly outside. Walkable into the city, but be aware that it is uphill on the way back with steep steps to the door. Not far from bus stops, also uphill on the way back. If you intend to use the local buses much, buy a pass online or on the bus, as it works out much cheaper.

The room is large with a double bed. It is very functional but not luxury. Some of the features the room gad was wifi, coffee making facilities and a safe. The location is great for central Dundee. The breakfast buffet was average however could not expect more as this hotel is within the budget range. Ideal hotel for short stay or for a business trip.

The perfect backpackers hostel. Very social and easy to meet new people. Guests of different ages, from young to old. Great staff and good cleaning. A lot of spaces to hang out: Kitchen, dining room, tv-room, reading room and a really big games room, with sofas, billiard table and instruments. The hostel is right in the center of Dundee town, so very close to shopping and restaurants.
