This is one of the better organized hostels I have seen, cutlery, dishes, and other things in the kitchen were very well-organized. The rooms were simple but what I liked best was the big siting and dining area. There was plenty of space to spread out. An excellent feature of this hostel were several binders of attractions and walks. I photographed these on my phone and used them the next day to find some wonderful hikes, including the Old Man of Stour which I would never have found on my own.

staying here was a very pleasant experience. more than being in a hostel, you felt at home. the house was extremely clean, and you could make use of the fully equipped kitchen and the living room as if it was your own home. would definitely recommend.

Saucy Mary's is a sea view facing hostel located in Kyleakin on the beautiful Isle of Skye close to the Skye Bridge. We offer accommodations for individual travelers, families and groups.
Budget travelers know there's no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: Save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a little more.
I had been concerned by previous poor reviews but hostel was much better than I expected. It was very basic but had all the facilities needed. Plenty of space in kitchen and sitting area with two cookers and fridges and multiple tables and chairs. Handy for restaurants or Supermarket to get food to cook. Bunk bed was fine so no complaints and a good start to my cycling tour.
A good budget friendly hostel with a beautiful lake view. It was clean and comfortable. The staff was very helping and kind. We informed them that we were going to arrive late in the night after the check-in hours, and the staff made sure to keep the keys and towels for us at the reception. The power sockets in our room weren't working when we arrived, but it was immediately looked into by the staff the next morning, and the issue was resolved.
Lovely well appointed modern property. Spacious. Loved having two bathrooms. Although there were 6 lodges on the plot, I still felt it was private and quiet. I didn’t mind that it was behind the funeral directors and backpackers hostel. Easy parking. Close shops and restaurants. We liked the large dining table. Comfy couch and big tv. We appreciated the manager came to check on us during the heavy rainstorm.
A great hostel. Great location in Broadford, close to bus stops and restaurants. Room was excellent, a good size and clean cot provided. Bathrooms were clean and tidy. Kitchen looked well-equipped, with several washing machines. WiFi worked well throughout.
There isn't much other places to stay at in the area, it was mostly what we expected it to be. Since it was for 2 nights only and we stayed in youth hostels before, it was nothing unexpected. The staff was very nice and super helpful.
A very comfortable and clean hostel on the Isle of Skye. The staff are very helpful and friendly and are willing to help you and recommend places to visit and eat. Close to the hostel there are several restaurants, a large supermarket and the cheapest petrol station along the way. The lounge is spacious and comfortable, as are the rooms.
