the staff are very kind - made us feel at home,
it's a nice place, there is a nice lounge - good atmosphere. Even has a piano which I thought was great ( chickened out of playing it - would have if there was no one around)

Beautiful setting. No town around it, just the loch, close enough to dip your toes in. Cozy and warm, all I needed. Surprisingly lively for November, even if I was on the fringes, being older than everyone else in the place combined.
Over 16 clearly means just over, lol
Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.
I did not stay at the property. On arrival the lock had been broken off and there was a small padlock(something you would use to lock a suitcase) locking the door.
I messaged the owner to tell them I did not feel safe due to there being no lock and that there was a male shouting aggressively next door.
1st time experience with hostel. Very well surprised. Room was big with a double bed and bunk bed for kids , clean and tidy. Large bathroom. Hot water, heating worked as we needed to put it on after a rainy days walks and we stayed there in June. Kitchen/dinning with everything you need. Very well supprised.recommended.
Worth the price and the facilities! I love how clean, spacious, equipped, and cheap the hostel is. We cooked for the trip around isle of sky and the kitchen is very well equipped! Would recommend all my friends whos going to isle of sky to stay here. Thank you 😁
Booked glamping pods arrived to be told no water via email and sent to a hostel (no staff) no hot water no electric sockets and very dated smelled of damp and so hot my baby screamed the full night!
