The staff were very friendly and the complimentary breakfast was convenient. I appreciated that the bunk bed mattresses were not yet made (I had my own drawer of clean linens) and had the blue plastic covering, as it eased my anxiety about bed bugs.

Nice private albergue in the middle of O Porriños. It was packed with pilgrims but despite that everything ran smoothly. The checking process was not as smooth as it should be but it was the result of several
misunderstandings. The door of our 2 bunk beds room was not working right and it made terrible noises. I checked for bedbugs and no one was there to be found.

Location was excellent - right on the 100.8 km mark for beginning the Camino de Santiago. It was a lovely, well-appointed apartment, full kitchen ; in the center of town. Taxi driver dropped us at the wrong address & wonderful Walter walked over to retrieve us. He was patient & so kind. Helped get our baggage tags prepared ~ couldn't have been more helpful. Thanks again, Walter!!

Very nice decor, very clean, very helpful host (thanks, Mario). My husband had forgotten his North America to Europe adapter for the phone charger at a previous hotel and Mario found one for him. Good breakfast. Even oat milk available.
Budget travelers know there's no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: Save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a little more.
Everything was in perfect condition. It would have been a fantastic experience, if there weren't noisy and arrogant people in the room, but this is not the hostel's fault. The entrance was easy to manage.
Super value for money right in the centre of the historical centre. Gorgeous hostel, with old school balconies. The kitchen had everything you need. I would have stayed another night but the camino was calling.
Excellent hostel set up. Great location, lovely. Lean and comfortable rooms, fantastic plentiful breakfast with everything you need and more. Great communication from owner and efficient system checking in. Good to have an office hour as I had multiple questions and owner was incredibly helpful. Can’t fault it!
