It's a very friendly and calm space. I regret that I booked only 1 night on the way from mountains. You can definitely feel the good spirit of this casa.

The property is in a very convenient location halfway between Santa Catalina Bus Station and Las Canteras beach. The price was very reasonable. The property has the feel and amenities of a youth hostel yet the quality and comfort of a hotel as well as the privacy. The girl at reception, Carolina, was lovely

Excellent attentive and friendly staff. They ran so many social events, it was a great opportunity to talk to everyone and have a lovely time. Especially when travelling alone.

- The fact that i've stayed in a room on the 2nd floor, far from other rooms, kitchen and the yard. Despite being far from everything, I could hear the screams (probably from drunk people), the music and the parties downstairs. I don't even want to think about if I had to stay in the rooms on the 1st floor.

This is a lovely hostel. A little small compared to sister ones eg Jungle House, but the volunteers were WONDERFUL and created an amazing friendly family atmosphere. Giancy is the most lovely man, Elena was really good at managing situations, Mara and all the others were great.
Luis was a highlight, he just joined as social rep and did a brilliant job. He is super talented and welcoming, and his group activities helped us see the city and elevated the social experience a lot.
The hostel is also clean and quiet for sleeping, and the beds have individual sockets and lights (no curtains on the beds though, and being a padlock for the lockers). I felt very comfortable and like my food and things were always safe.
A great experience, I will be back for sure.
Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.
The location is amazing. Reading reviews we were expecting a filthy hovel and unhelpful staff. But actually the volunteers were lovely and it was pretty clean. It is as you'd expect for a hostel. Good and cheap bar too.
The location is the best thing about this hostel. If you like remote, quietness and hiking this is for you. The view is amazing and the sunsets are incredible.
The reception is manned by volunteers of the hostel that is also at the Finca. They provided keys. The volunteer had never been in our house, she opened the door and that was it. We did not inspect the home.
The view from the house is amazing. The location is great (beware of the winding steep mountain roads to get there!).
A fantastic view from the hostel but sadly it rapidly became lost in cloud. A pleasant communal atmosphere amongst the guests. The (vegetarian) evening meal, prepared by volunteers, was good value.
This place is really special. Claudio is such a delightful, welcoming and helpful host, Alessandro's meals were so lovely, and the vibe of this place is amazing. Wonderful people pass through here on their hikes. It was the best hostel I have ever stayed in and I was so sad to leave.
