Monika is very responsive and made us feel at home. We recommend the stay as it is a really good value for money!

There's a rooftop, additional activities, common spaces, etc. Chill, fun and cozy vibe.

All guest rooms at the hostel come with a shared bathroom fitted with a shower. I liked the fact that the volunteer to guest ratio was very high. This meant that the hostel was kept very clean. All volunteers were remarkably helpful and helped to create a really good vibe. Loved the well-equipped kitchen with 3 sinks and 3 gas hobs. Nobody had to queue to cook because there were 12 places to heat their (good quality) pans. In addition there was a drinking water tap, a kettle, a microwave oven, a pizza maker and free coffee, tea, sugar, spices and often fresh bananas on offer from their trees. Ample fridge and dry food storage boxes. Happy to report there were no ants! The bunks in my room were double-bed size which is a rare plus.

The hostel offers a children's playground. You can play table tennis and darts at La Casita, and the area is popular for hiking. Beautiful location right in the middle of the islands inland nature! A little villa with a gorgeous inner courtyard and a few rooms. We got to meet some other people staying there and enjoyed a glass of wine and a chat . There’s a pool table and the host is lovely and the food they have is good , we enjoyed a bowl of pasta after a long day of travels . Full Breakfast was delicious! We would’ve enjoyed staying longer and taking advantage of the hammocks and benches outside , in summer it must be great if it’s warmer as well . Next morning we attempted to hike Pico from there , but didn’t make it and came back.
