This place is awesome and an adventure for the Camino Traveler. A survivor of Medieval times. The hose was great and would help with anything. Located in the center of the historic center of town, 1/2 block from the Cathedral Museum, which I visited. The palace just down the street from the Cathedral, which I also visited. Full kitchen for bring your own food. Glad I stayed a night.
Budget travelers know there's no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: Save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a little more.
Great location on the Camino. I arrived early at 11.30 but my room was ready and the lovely lady on reception showed me straight to it. There was a kitchen nearby and a fridge in my room so it was easy to pick up some food for breakfast and eat it there. The room was clean and spacious and I appreciated the little welcome basket with tea and cofee.
A great location if you’re walking the Camino. It’s a beautiful old building with large rooms. Mine had a private bathroom and overlooked the beautiful garden. The host is friendly and helpful. I had a very comfortable stay.
My favourite hostel/albergues on the Camino from Leon. They have many special advantages:
- endless of paintings from pilgrims
- a welcoming atmosphere and nice and helpful people
- a lot of space between beds and even a garden behind
- a kitchen, options to wash and much more
- they even sell pilgrim stuff (souvenirs etc)
- the city is one of the most beautiful towns to stay
