Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.
Big apartment with 2/3 rooms and wide windows. You have a kitchen and toilet with hot water.
Miguel is a great host, very responsive and give you local tips and help if needed.
Internet works seamless, great for work and support meetings.
The area is safe and takes 15 min walk or 1.25$ taxi ride to the center.
Water available.
Very good illumination due to massive windows.
Fans on rooms and living room.
Bus stops nearby to go to laguna Azul.
All good. Quiet hostel. Big rooms, it was pretty clean although I've read about some animals inside the rooms. We didn't find a lot of them. Nice view. Public kitchen. Friendly staff. We went to a great jungle tour with them! I would recommend it especially for couples or a group of friends.
I liked being out of town by about a 20 minute walk, not much traffic but it is hilly. The Hostal is a pleasant place, hammocks for reclining, though they did bring me a comfortable chair. The kitchen is the usual with hostels, not many decent knives or cookware, but a fridge and a gas stove are provided. There was only one other couple sharing the kitchen. They connected me to an agency for a 2 night jungle retreat.
Fantastic relaxed friendly helpful people. Super nice rooms and bathrooms. I really appreciate being able to safely leave my backpack here while I travel light in the Amazon. Hostel Limoncocha has looked after me every time!
