Hostería Colibri Aeropuerto, hotel in Tababela

The villa was absolutely fantastic with more than enough space for our family (2 adults and 2 kids). We really enjoyed our little personal hot tub, which was right outside the villa. There was also a little fire pit next to the tub and we had the fire going one night and it was really cozy. Outside of the villa, the staff was fantastic, especially Santiago and Theresa! Santiago was always available to answer any questions and help us out with anything and everything while Theresa was present every morning to cook us a wonderful breakfast of fruits, fruit juice, coffee, eggs, bread and pancakes! This place was very close to the airport (10-12 mins drive) and we definitely recommend this place to everyone and anyone!

I had an incredible experience at Quito Terrace! The location is perfect, very close to the historic center and the artisanal market, only ten minutes away. The staff is very friendly and helpful which made my stay here feel like home! The rooms were incredibly clean and the beautiful terrace was a great place to unwind after a long day of exploring the city. Amazing value for the price, and I will definitely stay here again!!

El Patio Hostel Quito, hotel in Tababela

El Patio Hostel Quito has a garden, shared lounge, a terrace and bar in Quito. Among the facilities at this property are a shared kitchen and a tour desk, along with free WiFi throughout the property....

I tried three different hostels in Quito. This one is the cleanest and nicest. The kitchen is very nice, well equipped and clean. The dorms are spacious with only four beds and privacy curtains. It was quiet when I was there but other guests were friendly. Lots of common areas to hang out in.

Authentic little hotel/hostel but left a lot to be desired. The host/owner was very accommodating but no A/C, lots of dogs barking at all hours, booked room as queen or King bed but given room with only double bed (asked again and they queen bed, but you can simply look at it and see it's a double bed). This was in one of the suite rooms - very charming but bed too small. Their basic rooms are very small with little space to unpack or store luggage.

It is close to the airport. I had messaged the hotel to let them know that we would be in at 2:00 am. There was noone around at that time to check in. We had to look around for a doorbell to ring and wake someone up. We were not prepared for that. Consequently check-in took a very long time. The room was ok. The breakfast was not great. The complimentary shuttle was on time back to the airport. This property is family run and more like a hostel/motel but it was cheap so you get what you pay for.

I have made this hostel my base when flying from Quito! Great location close to the airport with buses passing regularly. The rooms are great - big and clean! Staff are lovely! They even held one of my bags for 11 nights while I went to the Galapagos. Highly recommend!

The hostel has a great location only a few kilometres away from the airport. We were able to book a room there quite spontaneously. It also offers a free shuttle service to the airport (especially useful when you need to catch an early flight). You can order food in for very reasonable prices.
