Looking for a hostel?
Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.

Good budget hotel, excellent value for money. Spacious room and bathroom. Busy road, but quiet during the night. Staff were excellent and very helpful. They were also very quick to reply to our message asking about our transfer from the airport, and gave us some very useful advice.. Superb location, right opposite the lovely Malecon 2000. We really enjoyed our stay in Guayaquil, and felt very safe in the hotel.

Lovely boutique hotel. Great location in Las Penas. Malecon 2000 and restaurants all within walking distance. Very safe area. Quiet at night. Very good breakfast. Very responsive to any concerns or inquiries. Astrid offered us umbrellas as it was raining. 10 minutes drive to the airport.

Room is big, clean and comfortable. It is riggt next to police station so the area is very safe. There is a restaurant in the ground floor with delicious and cheap breakfast and lunch.

The location was great, just close to an entrance to malecon. So pretty safe as well ! The environment is quite chill and the staff very nice! Had a great veggie lunch for 5 dollars with desert and soup included. The breakfast has fresh fruit too! If you are veggie, at night I recommend the restaurant menestras del negro, 1 min walking from the hostel and ask for combinado de pollo without pollo. They will give you a giant plate with lentils, egg, avocado, rice, fries and ensalada for less than 5dollars.

Great location - las Preñas and Malecón were safe and interesting for tourists. Easy to go out for meals and coffee. Amazing staff who gave personalised and very helpful service- including organising tours. Room was comfortable, if unusual. Air conditioning was good too - necessary in the heat. Courtyard and terrace with a great view!

Great location in the safe Las Penas neighbourhood. The hotel is amazing inside with chandeliers and Victorian era decor. The ceilings are all hand painted with designs and artwork. The staff are so friendly and helpful.

+ kitchen and fridge to use + super nice staff! + great (vegan) restaurant at the hostel one block away (Casa Michael, that’s where you check in and where the staff is in case of a question) + comfortable beds + location is allright. feels like a really safe neighborhood, Bus to the city center takes a while (but is cheap with 35 cents) Uber takes shorter (more expensive with 4-10 dollars though) + supermarket, food places and a mall close by

Great location near the Malecon and still close enough to the airport/bus terminal. The budget double room is large and comes with AC. Our private bathroom was clean, although the shower head gets a bit temperamental. Bonus - wifi is super fast. They offer lunch and dinner, which we both got to try and they were delicious and reasonably priced. The hostel may be a bit dated but it’s hard to fault at this price range, so if you are not picky this is the place for you.
