Beautiful views of the forest from the bungalow balcony. I sat quietly as a large group of monkeys, including babies, walk and jumped through the trees 20 in front of me. This is the only time in CR I could look straight at monkeys instead of up. The host make incredible dinner. Seriously. Like at a five star restaurant. And different every night.

Staff were very friendly and even organized the boat to and from Drake Bay. We liked the location for being close to tour operators, restaurants and markets. The AC worked very well and it was one of the only places we had got water on the trip. Great value!

Corcovado Adventures, hotel in Drake

Corcovado Adventures features a garden, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Drake.

We loved our stay in one of the beachfront tents here. Very unique experience! The included breakfast was great, as well as the dinner and drink options. The tents had electricity and we were provided with a fan, which made for a comfortable sleep. Just charge your devices in the common areas or you may cause a power outage that may not be restored until the next morning if the staff have gone to bed.

Bolita is a really cool and unique place to stay. I loved the gorgeous location right in the forest and the many beautiful trails, swimming holes, waterfalls, plants, and views on the property. The hostel owners, volunteers, and guests were friendly, interesting, and relaxed, and there is thought put into maintaining a polite and ethical presence between hostel goers and locals. There are hammocks and spaces to do yoga and hang out, and the bugnets around the beds were great!

If you love to stay in the middle of nature, this is the perfect place. Heaven on earth. The house is comfortable and well equipped. You can see a lot of birds and some monkeys around the garden. Mike has always been super supportive each time we had a question. It was heartbreaking to leave this place after 4 days.
