Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.
This was our 2nd visit spotlessly clean, fresh beautifully prepared meals ,extremely helpful staff especially owner Rocky who is an exceptional host who has amazing knowledge of the local area. The bike loan and visit to the hostel farm nearby to pick fruit and veg are really wonderful extras. TK Hostel is a wonderful unique gem set in lovely Tangkou village surrounded by the truly awe inspiring UNESCO protected Dialou a must see if you visit China.
The hostel has good vibes. You can rent a bicycle and explore the nearby sights and villages easily. Their food is also very tasty.
