Only 1.5 km from the ski lifts, this youth hostel is located in Grindelwald. The sun terrace and the lovely breakfast room have beautiful views of the Bernese Alps. Packed lunches are available.

The room was clean and the washrooms were also clean. We really liked the breakfast.

Henryk is a very welcoming host. The dormitory was really clean, and it is a great place to stay 15mins away from the city centre which makes the position of the hostel perfect - at a walkable distance from the centre, and at a quiet neighbourhood.
Valley Hostel is located in Lauterbrunnen. Free WiFi access is available. At Valley Hostel you will find a garden and a shared kitchen.

The location and view were truely spectacular. It was close to the local supermarket (co-op), bus and train station. The room had a balcony and waterfall view as well.

The bed was extremely comfortable, which resulted in a great night's sleep. Also, the breakfast was excellent value and really delicious.

This property has beautiful views of the lake. The shared bathrooms were surprisingly very clean and well kept the entirety of our stay. The property was close to the bus stop, and it was a huge bonus that the hostel gave us free bus passes too!

The hostel is in an impressive location, with a view to the mountains and the river just outside the windows. There is a common kitchen area with a terrace at the top of the hostel. There are plenty of cafes snd restaurants around.
Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.
We really enjoyed our stay here! It was in a great location, away from the crowds but close enough to walk to down town. The hotel is well appointed and exactly what one would think of for an alpine hotel. The room was cozy and we had a beautiful view from our balcony. Their was enough space, a safe and supplies. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was delicious and with excellent service.
Fantastic restaurant for dinner; great breakfast (included); staff were very friendly and the hotel is in a great location, close to the train and amenities. They offered luggage storage with a changing room, perfect for after a day of skiing. The room was not huge, but big enough and comfortable for a family of 4, including a bunk bed large enough for a 17 and 12 year-old.
Great views. Can even eat outside on the balcony overlooking the snowy peaks.
Lots of opportunities to mingle and chat with other guests.
Away from the hustle-bustle of the town, but still within walking distance.
I only booked here because the Interlaken Youth Hostel was booked, but I'm so glad it was, as this was a much nicer place.
So zen, comforting and cozy with panoramic views of the mountains. I am a girl traveling alone and it was the perfect safe stopover for me after a 14 mile hike. Staff was so friendly and helpful. It felt like they really wanted you there and cared about your stay. Hostel was clean and very comfortable. Hostel is about a 10 minute walk outside of Grindelwalds main strip, which gives it the calming charm I was in desperate need of. Breakfast was delicious too, prepared me for another long hike the next day.
Amazing views from the hostel. Breakfast was very enjoyable. I felt safe and slept reasonably well. I was surprised how diverse the age groups were of the other holiday makers.
Breakfast was delicious and had a great selection (and vegan/vegetarian options too). The staff were incredible helpful, and gave us great suggestions for hikes to do. The room was comfy and the hostel was quiet. The location was great as the bus stop was just outside and we were right next to the train station, which was convenient. The lodge’s restaurant was also good for a quick cheap eat. Also seemed to have lots of communal areas, pool table, etc if you wanted things to do.
The staff were incredibly friendly and the views from the youth hostel were outstanding. The room was big, with a large bathroom. The breakfast gave many different swiss options and the timing of the breakfast suited us very well.
A very good location. Bus stop just across the road... Walking distance from the centre of the town/train station. Excellent views of mountains from the hotel areas especially the restaurant terrace... Basement portion runs on the pattern of a youth hostel, that is where I stayed.
