Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.
Beautiful hostel!! Super clean, activities run all the time, breakfast included, extraordinary staff! I went during the low season and had my entire dorm to myself but it was spacious and easily could have held 4 people with plenty of space. With large storage lockers inside of the rooms and located less than 500 metres from a Mayan ruin, which the hostel offers cheap super informative tours of. "The Cozy Restaurant" nearby also has superb food for cheap
A good hostel to stay in when in transit through San Ignacio. Well organised for backpackers, with a substantial tipico breakfast, film and quiz nights, and helpful staff with information for travellers and trips.
Can’t fault anything about this place. It was a great hostel and had a great vibe, many other backpackers. One of the rare hostels with enough bathrooms too! Has a nice deck and activities, can book any tour or transfer with them. Breakfast was also simple but nice. 10/10!
Great location and price. Hugo is a good man, I recommend this above most B&b’s, hostel etc.
You get free freshwater to drink, showers are amazing and bed not bad.
Great hostel! Good social vibes, nice decking to chill on. Big bunk beds and shower with hot water! They are great for organising tours - Mountain Pine Ridge was awesome!! Would definitely recommend :)
Communal kitchen good for talking to the other guests.
Use of the washing and drying machine.
Great location if you don't have a car close to bus stop and market downtown.
Very nice to have a safe.
Was very pleased with my stay here, I was expecting so much less. The staff were so helpful, especially Jessie. Best hostel breakfast I have had for a very long time. Only a few yards from the bus stop for bus to Belize City and onwards. No hesitation in thoroughly recommending YBB.
Perfect backpacker hostel with a great ambience to chill for a few days and visit the nearby attractions. Dimitri is a great host and very helpful.
Definitely would recommend staying here!
Probably the best hostel I've stayed at on this trip. The staff are great, the space is really nice, the bathrooms are huge which is nice. Beds are super comfy, you'll sit on it and be like oh yeah this is what a normal bed feels like. Breakfast is also the best breakfast I've had so far on this trip. I was sorta stuck here for 4 days due to poor planning and I'm glad it was at this hostel.
Great location on the edge of Downtown.
I was only there one evening so can’t comment too much. They provided a bbq day out for guests so the hostel was super quiet and I had the place to myself.
Private room was simple yet neat and tidy, shower was good.
