For the second night I stayed in a different room, but my review is basically the same. I liked everything. This hostel is a pure example of how the hostels should look like. Big, spacious, with a lot of different areas. Well equipped kitchen, outdoor smoking area, backyard hammock area, common space near reception with a ton of books, front yard with plants, a lot of art in all the areas of the hostel... Rooms are big enough with electric sockets near the beds, this room where I stayed for the second night had its own wc (although there're plenty of restrooms everywhere inside the hostel), vents during the day, air-condition during the night, hot showers, big friendly dog and big friendly cat, helpful and well informed bilingual staff, laundry available, small store with the most necessary items (food and toiletries) at the reception... Quiet during the night, but with a nice international hostel vibe. I hit some booking promo deal, so the price was also very affordable. 10/10

That was a lovely combo of positives: geographically well positioned, artistic ambience and thought out facilities. Furthermore, staff/owners engaged into providing one’s upmost enjoyment of one’s time; by awesome indications on what-to-dos based on good chats and customer understanding. The genuine can do attitude and sympathetic overall have won me over.

1. Otto, the host, is amazing, speaks good english and is always there to help
2. Very clean and tidy, big room, and has hangers outside the window to dry your clothes
3. Strong wifi
4. They have a water filter so you don't have to make a lot of plastic waste buying single use bottles. And the filter also gives out cold water
5. Good location near restaurants, bars & the beach, but not in a noisy hub, as well as by a bus stop
6. Helpful for leaving later in the night after checkout - allowed to keep my bag there and take a shower later.

this hostel but especially the owner(s) are out of this world - Their love and passion and generosity is something I have never experienced in ALL my 31 years of travel.

It was a pretty clean and organized place, with good communal space, but no atmosphere whatsoever. For me it made sense because I had an appointment around the corner, but as a backpacker, I was much happier when I moved downtown, where hostels had no pool but a lot of charm (and also were cheaper)
Very small hostel with a family-like feel! I really liked the location at the daytime - close to a lovely beach, however, once it got dark, I haven't felt safe around as a woman.
we have been travelling for 2 months and this one def one of the best hostels where we stayed. the place is very well decorated, organised and cozy. we took the private room, all very comfortable, we felt at home. people are nice and friendly and speak English!! (which is not taken for granted here) breakfast was very good!
