The staff has a lot of the vibe of a big family. Heraclito was the one who received us with all the affection and introduced us to the place. The location is perfect, the hostel is on the second floor of a great and cheap restaurant with typical food from Rio, and is located in Lapa, the heart of Rio. The hostel has free wi-fi, great accommodation for a home office worker and a "mini" bar. The reception service is available 24 hours a day. All in all, I had a great experience, and if I come back to Rio, I will definitely stay there again.

very well located but one bathroom for two shared rooms, no AC, small rooms, they give you the strict minimum, everything you ask is too much, even toilet paper, dirty place, very messy… not worth it !

I always value the location of the places where I stay. RWC is very well located, in the Santa Teresa neighborhood, very close to the city centrre, the Metrô, the famous staircase, museums and Flamengo beach. The staff with very good vibes at all times. Everything was very good, facilities, respectful and calm environment. A separate chapter for the pool and the incredible view of the sea and the city, from a small terrace on the third floor.

Lapa Casa is so lovely and peaceful. The old house carries the charm of the area, with high ceilings and balconies on a classic tree-shaded Lapa Street. Rita and Gonzalvo are very chilled, lovely hosts and create a homey feeling. Showers and beds are great, and plenty of lockers to lock away your valuables. Located in the heart of vibrant, colourfu Lapal, it's a 5 min walk to several bars, restaurants and live music venues. The Escadaria Selaron and Arcos de Lapa are very close. I love it here! Booked one week and stayed longer. I always felt safe. The international crowd for Carnaval was fun and created a good cultural mix. Rita and Gonzalvo speak several languages I highly recommend!!
