we spent a few days in Albania and it was definitely the best accommodation. Mateo and his family are wonderful people. The breakfast was delicious, the location was quite good, quiet and peaceful. I highly recommend this accommodation, the rooms were clean, it was quiet and peaceful. we will come back for sure. Before arriving, it is worth contacting and stopping the car before the hill.

As a solo female traveller, I couldn’t recommend Stone City more! The hostel is spotless, great location, amazing staff, free breakfast and incredible social areas to meet other travellers.
Probably on of the best hostels I’ve ever stayed at, not just very tastefully decorated but also very comfortable and cosy. And the staff is for sure the kindest ever, they are very attentive and nice. I wish we had one more day in Gjirokäster so we could spend more time in the hostel!

It is 30 minutes from sea, and very easily located. Overall, my stay at Grand Park Hotel was nothing short of exceptional, and I highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a quiet, tranquil, and very cheap stay!
The best hostel I have stayed at in Albania! Staff were amazing and very helpful! Dormitories were great, bathrooms were clean and modern. The breakfast each morning is perfect, and the hostel itself is well set up. Attracts a good group of backpackers, had a great time. Will definitely be back.

Probably one of the best hostels I've ever stayed in. Everything was perfect--location, cleanliness, friendliness. The hosts, fellow backpackers themselves, are often present chatting with guests and swapping stories. The homemade baked goods at the communal breakfast table are a great touch. If they are running the hike to the valley across from Gjirokaster, book it. It was a wonderful experience.
