Not only is it an incredibly friendly, welcoming atmosphere but the staff themselves will get to know you. Vinh, the host, is a gem. I booked a tour with her and it was like spending the day with a good friend. She also helped arrange transportation and patiently helped other travelers with their itineraries, even beyond their time in Mai Chu. For a 35 solo traveler who wanted a social environment without rowdy partying, this was perfect. The space itself was nice, the location convenient…I recommended it to other travelers.

Nha Tan - Mai Chau Homestay and Tours is a recently renovated homestay in Mai Chau, where guests can make the most of its garden and barbecue facilities. Featuring a 24-hour front desk, this property also provides guests with a children's playground. There is an outdoor fireplace and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. Tan was the perfect host; friendly, helpful and she cooked the most amazing dinners for us. It is such a beautiful, peaceful area and we thoroughly enjoyed bike riding through the rice paddies and into Lac Village and the town. Tan arranged transport for us from and back to Ha Noi and around Mai Chau (waterfalls and lake) with Loc, who was a very patient and excellent driver. Thank you Tan and Loc for making our stay so enjoyable and memorable. The homestay experience was priceless!

We've stayed in Mai Chau a few times before. This is a nice family-run homestay in traditional style buildings. Location is great and ideal to explore the local area by bicycle or walking. Good food available if you order in advance.

Blown away with this incredible homestay. The hosts pick you up from the shuttle bus drop off and get you immediately set up. The room was spacious and very comfortable. Wifi was excellent. The bed was great and both the AC and water heater worked a treat. The morning breakfast provided is very good with a few options. They’re also nearby other home stays with good food if you’re feeling more variety. The dinner was excellent and had a lot of options. It’s a beautiful area to explore and the location is unbeatable.
Excellent central location in town. Easy walking to everything. The host family were all very friendly and helpful, especially given our bus was very late and we arrived at midnight! Our host was able to provide a driver for the day to explore the area around Mai Chau and organised some activities in the local village for us. The food prepared for us by the family was delicious and served with such joy and pride. We were made to feel very welcome at this homestay and we loved staying here!
A wonderful homestay with a fantastic view. Quiet and peaceful, warm-hearted locals, delicious food. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Excellent service with information on what to do here. The sitting area was also super comfortable with loungers and seating. I will gladly come again. Thank you very much.
My sister and I spent 2 nights here and it was great! The location of the homestay couldn’t be better, and what to say about the views from the room, just amazing :) In addition to that the host, Huong, was one of the most lovely hosts I’ve met during my travels. To top it off, the food at family dinners was delicious. Highly recommended homestay :))
The Homestay is truely a Home Stay, like we are at home. The host is super friendly. The view is more than beautiful, look straight to the rice field. Highly recommended!
Great host family - super friendly and helpful. The lodge is located in a quiet area with an amazing view, you can rent bikes for free and the town is quite close by.
